We are currently working on a new operating layout that will be approximately 19' x 75'. Our goal is to build the OMRA from Monett, MO to Fort Smith, AR. This will be an operational layout that is set up for display to the public, youth, and educational groups.
A starter section was donated to the club by Tim Kubat which is the base for the Missouri & North Arkansas from Seligman to Harrison, AR.
OMRA is offering this Frisco 65' Mill Gon in two numbers: 70015 and 70048. The model is based on the car made by Press Steel Corp. The railroad received 50 of these cars in December 1948. The cars were still in use in the 1980's.
What you see here is the artwork for the car. The models will be Ready to Roll cars from Athearn Trains complete with knuckle couplers and metal wheels. The ends are moveable so you can run the car with them up or down. The body color will be a brownish Oxide Red with White lettering. They are expected to be available to ship to you in late March or early April 2007.
